Sauce & Seasoning

  • Soy sauce1 tbsp
  • Sugar1 tbsp
  • Minced garlic1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil1 tbsp
  • Salta little

    For yukhoe, use a lean cut with little fat, such as top round or chuck tender. Prepare fresh beef that is safe to eat raw.

    Mix soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and sesame oil to make the sauce. Keep the seasoning mild, and chop the garlic a little coarsely for a nice bite.

    Firm up the beef in the freezer for about 10 minutes, then slice it into thin strips. Season it quickly right after taking it out so it stays firm.

    Cut the pear into thin strips and spread it on a plate.
