Oven-Baked Shepherd's Pie
Shepherd's pie is a classic British comfort dish: ground beef and vegetables simmered with red wine and Worcestershire sauce into a savory filling, topped with creamy mashed potato and baked until golden. Raking ridges into the potato before baking gives it a crisp top and a soft, hearty inside.
