Rosé Pasta

  • Pasta1 serving
  • Cocktail shrimp (or bacon)a handful
  • Garlic3 cloves
  • Onion1/3
  • Rice wine (or cooking wine)1 tbsp
  • Heavy cream170ml
  • Tomato sauce120ml
  • Sliced cheese1 slice
  • Parsley flakesto taste
  • Salt & pepperto taste

Directions

    Step 1

    Bring 1 L of water with 1/2 tbsp of salt to a boil. Meanwhile, julienne 1/3 onion and thinly slice the garlic.

    When the water boils, add the pasta and cook for about 7 minutes.

    In an oiled pan, sauté the sliced garlic over low heat, and once fragrant, add the onion.

    When the onion turns translucent, add the shrimp (or bacon), drizzle in 1 tbsp of rice wine, and stir-fry over high heat until cooked through.

    Once everything is cooked, pour in the heavy cream and tomato sauce and stir evenly.

    When the sauce starts to bubble, add the cooked pasta and 1 slice of cheese, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.

    Plate the pasta and finish with a sprinkle of parsley flakes.

Tips

Like cream pasta, rosé pasta is easiest to make two servings at a time. For two servings, simply double all the ingredients.
