No-Oven Bread Apple Pie
A simple apple pie made without an oven — cinnamon-sweet stewed apples tucked into flattened sandwich bread and pan-fried until golden. Using rolled-out bread instead of pastry dough makes it easy for anyone.

Ingredients
Ingredients
- Sandwich bread4 slices
- Apple1/2
- Sugar2 tbsp
- Honey1 tbsp
- Cinnamona little
- Butter1 tbsp
- Eggs1
Directions
- 1

Finely dice half an apple.
- 2

Put the diced apple and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a pan and simmer over low heat.
- 3

When the apple turns golden, add the cinnamon. Adjust the amount to your taste.
- 4

Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey, mix evenly, then transfer to a bowl.
- 5

Cut off the crusts of 4 bread slices and flatten them with a rolling pin. If you don't have one, use any round tool like a cup or bottle.
- 6

Place the stewed apple on the flattened bread. Don't overfill, or it will burst.
- 7

Press the edges together with a fork and trim any uneven edges with a knife. If they won't stick, beat an egg with a little water and brush it on the edges.
- 8

You can bake the assembled pies in the oven or cook them in a pan.
- 9

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan and cook over low heat.
- 10

For a nicer finish, brush both sides of the bread with the leftover egg before frying. Cook until golden on both sides and it's done.
