Katsu Sando (Pork Cutlet Sandwich)

A Japanese katsu sando with a crispy pork cutlet tucked between slices of rye bread, spread with a mix of tonkatsu and mustard sauce. Just one makes a filling meal for one.

  • Pork cutlet (tonkatsu)1 piece

Sauce

  • Tonkatsu sauce3 tbsp
  • Mustard sauce1/2 tbsp

    Cook the pork cutlet in an air fryer at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.

    Mix 3 tbsp tonkatsu sauce with 1/2 tbsp mustard sauce to make the spread.

    Trim the crusts off 2 slices of rye bread.

    Spread the sauce on one slice of bread.

    Place the cooked pork cutlet on top and spread more sauce over it.
