Jeyuk-deopbap (Spicy Pork Rice Bowl)
A hearty one-bowl meal of spicy stir-fried pork piled over rice. Seasoned pork is stir-fried with a gochujang sauce and served on top of warm rice — quick and simple.

Sauce
- Soy sauce1 tablespoon
- Cooking wine1 tablespoon
- Minced garlic1/2 Tbsp
- Gochujang (red chili paste)1.5 Tbsp
- Red chili powder1 tablespoon
- Sugar1 tablespoon

If the pork is frozen, move it to the fridge a day ahead to thaw it in advance.

Mix 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp cooking wine, 1/2 tbsp minced garlic, 1 1/2 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp red chili powder and 1 tbsp sugar to make the sauce.

Cut the onion, green onion and pork into bite-sized pieces.

Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry the pork, and when it is half-cooked add the sauce and vegetables. Stir-fry together, then spoon over rice to finish.
Tips
Don't add water to the sauce. Stir-frying without extra liquid keeps the flavor rich and concentrated.
