Hamburg Steak

Ingredients

Patty

  • Ground beef150 g
  • Minced pork150 g
  • Onion1
  • Breadcrumbs1/2 cup
  • Egg1
  • Ketchup1 tbsp
  • Mustard1/2 tbsp
  • Minced garlic1 tsp
  • Salt1/2 tsp
  • Black peppera little
  • Olive oila little

Sauce

  • Button mushrooms3
  • Butter1 tbsp
  • Water1/2 cup
  • Tonkatsu sauce3 tbsp
  • Ketchup2 tbsp
  • Salta little
  • Black peppera little

Directions

    Cut the button mushrooms into quarters, and prepare the onion by slicing half into strips and finely mincing the other half.

    Heat olive oil in a pan, add the minced onion, season with salt and pepper, sauté, then let it cool slightly.

    Combine the sautéed onion with the rest of the patty ingredients and knead well until sticky, then divide the mixture, shape into rounds, and press the center slightly to flatten.

    Heat oil in a pan and sear both sides golden over medium heat, then lower to low heat, cover with a lid, and let it cook gently all the way through.

    Melt butter in another pan and sauté the sliced onion and button mushrooms for 2 minutes.

    Add the sauce ingredients — water, tonkatsu sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper — and bring to a boil.
