A giant, kid-friendly donggeurangttaeng you make big instead of fiddly small ones! Ground pork and tofu are mixed with onion and green onion, seasoned with oyster sauce and mirin, shaped into fist-sized patties, and pan-fried golden — a mild meat patty kids love.

  • Onion1/2
  • Green onion1/2 stalk
  • Tofu1/2 block
  • Egg1
  • Oyster sauce1 tbsp
  • Baby salt (mild)1 pinch
  • Flour2 tbsp
  • Mirin1 tbsp
  • Cooking oilgenerous amount

Directions

    Step 1

    Mash the tofu into the ground pork with a knife, and chop in the green onion and onion. (Add carrot or other vegetables if you like.)

    Add 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp mirin, and 1 pinch of mild baby salt. (You can use a slice of baby cheese instead of salt.)

    Add 2 tbsp of flour (regular spoon).

    Wearing gloves, knead well until the mixture gets sticky.

Tips

Shaping them big — fist-sized — instead of dredging in flour and egg saves a lot of effort. Knead well with gloves so they hold together, and for kids you can knead in a slice of baby cheese instead of salt.
