Giant Donggeurangttaeng (Kid-Friendly Pork Patties)
A giant, kid-friendly donggeurangttaeng you make big instead of fiddly small ones! Ground pork and tofu are mixed with onion and green onion, seasoned with oyster sauce and mirin, shaped into fist-sized patties, and pan-fried golden — a mild meat patty kids love.

Wearing gloves, knead well until the mixture gets sticky.
- 5

Shape the mixture into fist-sized balls.
- 6

Generously oil a frying pan.
- 7

Press each ball flat with your palm into a large, thick patty.
- 8

Lay them in gently (the oil may splatter) and fry both sides until golden.
- 9

Set on paper towels to drain the oil, and it's done.
Tips
Shaping them big — fist-sized — instead of dredging in flour and egg saves a lot of effort. Knead well with gloves so they hold together, and for kids you can knead in a slice of baby cheese instead of salt.
