Donggeurangttaeng (Korean Meat Patties)
Savory little patties of minced pork, tofu, and vegetables pan-fried golden. A holiday-table favorite that's also great as a lunchbox side.

- Tofu1/2 block
- Onion1/3
- Carrot1/6
- Green onion1/3 stalk
- Flouras needed

- Cooking oilas needed
Seasoning
- Rice wine2 spoons
- Minced garlic1 spoon
- Sesame oil1 spoon
- Salt0.4 spoon
- Ginger powder0.2 spoon
- Black peppera pinch
Directions

Finely mince all the vegetables — onion, carrot, and green onion.

Add 2 spoons of rice wine to the minced pork and let it marinate briefly.

Add the minced vegetables and mashed tofu to the meat.

Season with 1 spoon minced garlic, 0.4 spoon salt, 0.2 spoon ginger powder, 1 spoon sesame oil, and a pinch of black pepper.

Wearing food-safe gloves, knead the mixture well until it becomes sticky and cohesive.

Pinch off portions and shape them into round, flat patties.

Coat each patty evenly in flour.

Dip the flour-coated patties into beaten egg to coat all over.

Heat oil in a pan and pan-fry over medium heat until golden on both sides.
Tips
Squeeze the water from the tofu before mashing so the mixture isn't too wet. Knead it well so the patties hold together while frying.
