Club Sandwich
A hearty, veggie-packed club sandwich. Spread with a golden whole-grain mustard sauce and stacked into three layers, it makes a satisfying full meal.

- Sliced ham2 slices
- Cheddar cheese1 slice
- Egg1
- Tomato1
- Romaine lettuce4 leaves
- Iceberg lettuce2-3 leaves
- Pickles6 slices
- Buttera little
Sauce
- Whole-grain mustard1.5 spoons
- Mayonnaise1 spoon
- Ketchup1 spoon
Directions

Toast 3 slices of bread golden in a buttered pan.

Stand the toasted bread upright to cool so it doesn't get soggy.

Cook the sliced ham slowly over low heat, flipping when the center puffs up.

Mix 1.5 spoons whole-grain mustard, 1 spoon mayonnaise, and 1 spoon ketchup into a sauce, and spread it evenly on the toast.

Layer the sliced tomato and prepared vegetables on the sauced bread.

Add a second slice of bread in the middle, then top with a fried egg and the grilled ham.

Stack another layer of vegetables and the cheddar cheese on top.

Spread sauce on the inside of the last slice of bread and place it on top.

Tips
Cool the toast upright so it stays crisp. Stack heavier items at the bottom and tuck vegetables between layers so the sandwich holds together.
