Caprese Salad
Caprese salad takes its name from the island of Capri near Naples in southern Italy, meaning 'salad in the style of Capri.' It's a fresh, simple salad made by layering ripe tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, then drizzling with balsamic dressing.

Ingredients
Ingredients
- Ripe tomato2
- Fresh mozzarella cheese300-400g
- Salad greens1 handful
- Balsamic dressing3 Tbsp
- Strawberry2
Directions
- 1

Wash the tomatoes and remove the stems, then slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into bite-sized pieces. Keeping the two roughly the same size makes for a nicer presentation. Rinse the salad greens under running water and shake off the excess, and wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- 2

Arrange the sliced cheese and tomato alternately on a plate, then add the prepared salad greens and strawberries alongside.
- 3

Finally, drizzle balsamic dressing evenly over the top to finish.
Tips
Feel free to add other fruits to taste. You can also swap the balsamic dressing for another dressing you like.
