- Thinly sliced beef (bulgogi cut)400g
- Cooking oila drizzle
- Water1/4 cup
- Black peppera pinch
- Chopped chives1 stalk
Marinade
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- Water2 tbsp
- Sugar2 tbsp
- Rice wine2 tbsp
- Chopped green onion1 tbsp
- Minced garlic1 tbsp
- Minced ginger1/4 tbsp
- Sesame oila drizzle

Cut the sliced beef into bite-size pieces.

Make the marinade: 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp water, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp rice wine, 1 tbsp chopped green onion, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1/4 tbsp minced ginger, and a drizzle of sesame oil.

Add the marinade to the beef and mix thoroughly.

Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the bulgogi.

Add a splash of water now and then so the meat doesn't burn.

Season with a pinch of black pepper.

Top the cooked beef with chopped chives to finish.
Tips
Even 10 minutes in the marinade flavors the beef well. Splashing in water while cooking keeps the meat juicy and the sauce from scorching.
