Asparagus Two Ways (Cheese Bake & Bacon Wrap)
Two simple asparagus dishes made with just a few ingredients. Sautéed in garlic butter and topped with melted cheese for the cheese bake, or wrapped in bacon and pan-seared for the bacon rolls — both come together quickly for an impressive side dish or drinking snack.

Ingredients
For the Cheese Bake
- Asparagus100g
- Garlic1 clove
- Butter1 tbsp
- Sliced cheese1 slice
For the Bacon Rolls
- Asparagus100g
- Bacon4 strips
Directions

Mince the garlic for the cheese bake.

Melt butter in a pan.

Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add the asparagus and sauté.

Transfer the sautéed asparagus to a plate and top with cheese.

Microwave for 30-40 seconds until the cheese melts, and the cheese bake is done.

For the bacon rolls, blanch the asparagus briefly in boiling water, then drain.

Cut the bacon strips in half.

Wrap the asparagus tightly with the bacon.
