Air Fryer Candied Sweet Potatoes
Candied sweet potatoes made easily in the air fryer. The sweet potatoes are roasted until crisp outside and tender inside, then coated in a light honey-jocheong glaze for a sweet, chewy finish. Low effort, but always a hit with kids as a snack.

- Jocheong (or honey/oligo syrup/corn syrup)4 tbsp

Peel the sweet potatoes.

Cut the peeled sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces, put them in a resealable bag with 4 tbsp olive oil, and shake the bag well.

Shake it around so the oil coats everything evenly.

Air-fry at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes. The cooking time may vary depending on the size of the sweet potato pieces.

The golden-roasted sweet potatoes taste great even on their own.

To live up to the "candied" name, glaze it lightly with honey and jocheong. Mix whatever you have on hand — honey, jocheong, corn syrup, or oligo syrup — for a total of about 4 tbsp, tasting as you go to adjust the sweetness.

Add the roasted sweet potatoes and toss.

Toss until evenly coated in the glaze, then sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds to finish.
Tips
